Founded in 2014, AgilePlant develops Exchanger Optimizer, engineering software that helps fabricators, EPCs, and process engineering companies design, estimate, and quote heat exchangers and pressure vessels more efficiently. The platform standardizes engineering calculations, automates cost estimation, generates fabrication drawings, and produces accurate quotations for process equipment projects worldwide.

Many engineers and estimators first encountered Exchanger Optimizer through its integration within the HTRI ecosystem. Today, AgilePlant also provides direct sales, licensing, training, technical support, and ongoing product development for Exchanger Optimizer users worldwide. By working directly with customers, AgilePlant can respond more quickly to customer requirements, accelerate product development, and provide a higher level of support.

In 2026, AgilePlant expanded the platform with native pressure vessel estimation capabilities, extending Exchanger Optimizer beyond heat exchangers and creating a unified solution for process equipment design, estimation, and costing.
